With the success of our Recreational training program, we will be a offering a second winter training program for our recreational players.
Training sessions will be 60 minutes long for children in 1st and 2nd grade and 75 minutes long for children in 3rd grade and above.
The program will be 6 sessions long (Fall was 5 sessions).
The sessions will be held on Saturday mornings at the Sunnyvale Soccer Complex (SSC),
1095 Dunford Way, Sunnyvale CA 94087.
Following state and county guidelines, we are allowed to run socially distant training with small groups, often called pods,
with rosters that must remain stable, and players cannot physically interact during training.
We have developed protocols, including rigorous health screening and sanitizing requirements that all will be required to follow.
We will be focused on a variety of soccer activities within a fun learning environment, which allows for requests to build pods around friends and neighbors.
If health guidelines change, for example to allow interaction between players, we will incorporate the changes into our program.
We are hopeful that the county will enter the Orange tier status during this program, which will allow for games and scrimmages within practices.
Players need to be able to follow all protocols and we have limited spots available.
As a result we are limiting enrollment to this program to children in 1st grade through 12th grade (High School Seniors).
The first session of the new program will start on Saturday, February 20, 2021.
Registration will close no later than Wednesday, February 17, and you will be informed of your player's training time as
well as required protocols on Friday, February 19.
Fee is $115 for players in 1st and 2nd grade (6 x 60 minute sessions) and $140 for players in 3rd grade and above (6 x 75 minute sessions).
All participants will receive a SASC face mask!

See you at the complex!
October is Breast Cancer Awareness month and we are sadly missing our usual Pink Socks for October!
It's been a great tradition to see so many of our teams wearing hot pink socks for games in October.
Our support of El Camino Health Foundation's Breast Center Mammogram Fund is important to us and to our community and we've come up with a
true Covid way to raise funds again to support them!
We've found a comfortable washable mask that we're imprinting with our SASC pink ribbon logo!
Masks are two layer with a comfortable cotton lining and a pocket for an optional filter layer and available in both adult and youth sizes.
They have a nose wire, chin pocket and adjustable ear loops for a great fit.
Ordering is now closed.
Thank you to those who ordered masks. They are on their way and we will deliver them to your player's practice in the next couple of weeks.
ALL profits from the mask sales will be donated to the Mammogram Fund to assist in providing mammograms to low income women.
Thank you for joining us to support a great cause in our local community in the most Covid way possible!
