Information for Referees
Become a Referee
Why should you become a Referee???
- Being a Referee builds self-esteem and self-confidence.
- It's a great way to stay in shape.
- It's fun.
- You get to watch the game from the best seat in the house.
- It improves your game by giving you an insight into what Referees are looking for and how they make decisions.
- It prevents you, the parent/coach/player, from looking silly by yelling at a ref for no good reason.
- It gives you more to talk about around the dinner table than "How was school?"
- It's a great way to give back to the community.
- You KNOW you can do a better job than THAT bozo!
- We desperately need more adult Referees!
